The EEGsynth at La Generale

Brainwave music collective prepares for concerts in Paris.

LE PROJET :

The EEGsynth team has since 2019 been organising festivals that focus on biofeedback, the use of naturally occurring nervous signals in the body to create music in real time. The team is during 2024 organising a series of concerts in Paris (like a very long, outstretched festival). One week the Swedish- American duo Alpha Xiao will be in residency. They use the EEGsynth to make electronic music and play the traditional Chinese xiao flute. During the second week French musician and visual artist Samon Takahashi will be working with Swedish and French musicians in order to introduce the EEGsynth and brainwave music to them.
